Just for the sake of interest, here’s a counter-point to the Women in Reasonable Armor question, Men in Wildly Impractical Real-World Battle Dress. 

As the guy who runs the Reasonable Armor tumblr has noted, practicality isn’t the end-all and be-all of military costume. In some cases though, you have to wonder if it was given any thought at all.
